Donald Ward Golden, 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Jan. 23, 2023. He was born in McMinnville, to the late Ward and Jane Golden. He graduated from McMinnville Central High School and Vanderbilt University, where he received a degree in civil engineering.

Don married the love of his life, Bettye Parsley Golden, in 1955 and moved to Nashville, where he began working for Bush Building Company. He later became the owner and built water treatment plants all over the southeast and multiple masonry projects throughout downtown Nashville.
