Donald Edward Madewell Sr., 63, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, died Oct. 22 at Erlanger Medical Center following an extended illness.He was a self-employed handyman, member of Turning Point United Pentecostal Church, and son of the late John William and Vera Wilene Madewell Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandchild Joshua Dickson.He was married to Marlene Nelson Madewell of Rock Island on Oct. 11, 1979. She survives. Mr. Madewell is also survived by son and daughter-in-law Donald Edward (Jody Maria) Madewell, II of Rock Island; daughter and son-in-law Dorrie Dickson of Tullahoma, and Rickie Dickson of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Vera Madewell, Wiley Madewell, John Madewell, Sarah Madewell, Richard Madewell and Kayla Dickson.
