Lawrenceburg, Ky., resident Diane Womack, 66, passed away Monday, May 14, at UK Medical Center.

Born Aug. 6, 1951 in McMinnville, Diane was the daughter of the late Calvin Davis and Betty Sue (Phillips) Brown. She retired as bookkeeper/ secretary at Robert B. Turner Elementary and other Anderson County Schools. A member of Hope Community Church, she was involved with Anderson County Fire Protection District Auxiliary, Anderson County Athletic Booster Club, Beta Sigma Phi and was a Boy Scout advisor.

Diane is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richey Womack; sons Chad (Amy) Womack, Brandon (Emy) Womack and Ashley (Hilary) Womack, all of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, Brady, Allie and Bennett Womack; siblings, Dave Brown and Lydia (Joey) Wilcher, all of McMinnville; special aunt, Ann Love of Murfreesboro; special niece Jessica Newman of McMinnville; special cousin Ellen Hankel of McMinnville; and special friends, Amy Mahers and Linda Shearer.

Visitation will be Friday, May 18 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home and Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hope Community Church, 5930 US Hwy 127, Frankfort, Ky. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 19, beginning at 1 p.m. at Hope Community Church. Dr. Jeff Eaton will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Brown, Derek Wilcher, Corey Brown, Richard Shearer, Robert Shearer and Johnny Walls. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan, Ryan, Brady, Allie and Bennett Womack, Steve Drury, Glen Wells, Danny Newton and Rob Shearer.
