Mr. Dewey Dwight Mathis, 70, of Woodbury (Ivy Bluff community) died Sunday, March 16, at his residence. He was born Oct. 16, 1943, in Warren County, and was a member of the Church of Christ at Ivy Bluff. Mr. Mathis was preceded in death by his parents, Bob C. and Grace Rains Mathis, and brother Larry C. Mathis.Survivors include his brother Bobby (Vickie) Mathis, sister-in-law, Eva Mathis, and nieces and nephews Michael (Ramona) Mathis, Beth Mathis, B.J. Mathis, Pam (Jimmy) Cowan, and Brent (Angela) Mathis.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
