A man who never met a stranger and will be missed by many, Denny Morris Haston, died March 20 at age 69.
He was born in McMinnville on Oct. 13, 1943. The family moved to Dallas in 1959 and Morris graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1961. He worked for Baxter Healthcare and retired after 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, car swap meets and spending time with family. Morris resided in Cedar Hill, Texas, since 1983. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Clara Haston. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Carol Haston; son, Denny Haston and wife Kathy, and son, Kevin Haston and wife Mechelle; brother Doug Haston and wife Carol, sister, Ann Gipson; grandchildren, Jennifer Spoor and husband David, Cody Searles, and Eric, Colin, Haley, and Grace Haston; great-grandchild, Tyler Spoor; nieces, Kim Haston and Kelly Isbell and husband, Jon; nephew, Jon Gipson; lifelong friend, Tommy Walls; and numerous other family and friends.
Memorial services are 10 a.m., Monday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, Texas.
