Dennis Young, 72, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville.
He was born June 5, 1942 in Smithville and was a former route salesman with Frito Lay, and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mr. Young was preceded in death by mother, Elizabeth Certain Neal and her husband Luther Neal, his father Clarence Young, and brother Jerry Young.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Young; children, Brad (Debbie) Young and Michelle (Landon) Pence; grandchildren Ryan Young, Shelby Young, Ali Young, Tosha (Jason) Johnson, and Brianna Pence; great-grandchild, Kinsley Mae Johnson; brothers, Delbert (Phyllis) Young and Terry (Faye) Young, and stepbrother Mike (Marie) Neal.
A graveside memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Kevin Burden will officiate. The Young family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
