DeLone Franklin Arthur, 78

Morrison resident and Ft. Payne, Ala., native DeLone Franklin Arthur, 78, was born Jan. 21, 1933 and died Sept. 7 at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness.
A retired employee of the United States Postal Service and United States Army and Air Force veteran, he was a pilot and avid photographer and loved reading and computers. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Florida. He was a member of the Tea Party and director of Warren County Republican Party.
He was the son of the late Roy and Mary Benefield Arthur. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Moses.
He was married Nov. 30, 1975 to Susan David Arthur of Morrison. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Khebran Arthur of Lafayette, Ga.; and two sisters, Marilyn Goza of Ft. Payne, Ala., and Sylvia Dillelo of West Lake, Ohio.
At Mr. Arthur’s request, he was cremated and there will be no services at this time.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
