Deanna Frances Baker Newby, 76, of Spencer, died Thursday, Feb. 16, at Generations Center in Spencer. She was born Feb. 7, 1941, in Detroit, Mich., was a retired beautician and a member of the Church of Christ. Ms. Newby was preceded in death by parents Floyd and Myrtle Townsend Baker.
