David Wayne Burgess, 55, of South Pittsburg (formerly of McMinnville) died Sunday, Feb. 15 at Hospice of Chattanooga. He was born Dec. 24, 1959 in McMinnville and was of the Baptist faith, a former nursery worker, and former pallet factory worker with Pro-Pack Inc. Mr. Burgess was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Hershel and Nannie Belle Mayberry Burgess and sister Cezillia Barrett.Survivors include brothers, Lonzo (Lillie) Burgess, Harlan (Nina) Burgess, Carlie (Armanda) Burgess, Arvil Burgess, and Daniel (Monica) Burgess, and sisters, Mary Etta (Donnie) Bouldin, Delilah (Larry) Watson, and Zodell Jones.
