McMinnville resident and Warren County native David Wayne Bell, 61, was born May 30, 1955 and died Jan. 22 at his daughter’s residence following an extended illness.A lineman with Dillard Smith Construction Company and member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Elbert Bell and Welthan May Parker Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Berry, Willie Hittle and Mary Fuson and two brothers, James Leslie “Buck” Bell and Douglas Bell.Mr. Bell is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Neil Myers of McMinnville; grandson, Anthony Underwood; granddaughter, Annelyse Myers; two sisters, Betty (Daniel) Pack of Morrison and Martha (Houston) Lefevers of Springfield; brother, Pete (Charlotte) Bell of Morrison; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Herschel Short. A graveside service and interment were Tuesday, Jan. 24 at Bascom Cemetery with Herschel Short officiating.
