David Ray Cantrell, 61

David Ray Cantrell, 61, died Dec. 10 at his home in Manchester.
He was a retired electrician with Carrier in Morrison and a member of Summitville Church of Christ and a United States Army veteran.
He will be fondly remembered as one who loved his family and enjoyed gardening. He was born in McMinnville to his parents, the late William Cantrell and Bertha Glenn Cantrell. He was also preceded in death by his son, Quentin Elkins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth A. Hennessee Cantrell of Manchester; children, Ammie Gilliam (Tim), Rodney Elkins and Autumn Doss, all of Manchester; sister, Dianna Atnip of Smithville; brothers, Donald Cantrell (Nelta) of McMinnville, and Douglas Cantrell (Sara) of Smithville; five grandchildren, Derek Gilliam, Tiffany Gilliam, Whitney Elkins, Payton Harris and Skylar Harris, all of Manchester; one great-grandchild, Adelyn Kapri Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Richard Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery in Warren County with military honors. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
