David E. Swindell, 46, of Spencer died May 29 at his residence after an extended illness.He was born in McMinnville on June 10, 1966, the son of Henry Earl Swindell and the late Joy C. (Cope) Swindell. He was a factory worker and a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ of Spencer.He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Pearlene (Shockley) Swindell of Spencer; daughter, Mica E. and husband Colt Jackson, of Cookeville; two sons, Derek K. Swindell, of Spencer and Jason L. Hutchings of Sparta; sister, Leslie C. Riggs, of Spencer; brother, Terry Keith Swindell, of Spencer; one very special niece, Lindsey Riggs of Spencer; aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends; one very special granddaughter, Harper Jackson of Cookeville.The family will receive friends Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the time of service at Spencer Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Billy Reed and Wayne Sullivan officiating.
