Albuquerque, N.M., resident and Warren County native David Clark Cummings, 65, was born Jan. 11, 1950 and died April 11 in Albuquerque.A geologist for the state of New Mexico Department of Agriculture, he was the son of the late David Lawrence and Sara Josephine McCormick Cummings. He is survived by five children and their spouses, Jaime Erin Cummings Griffith Blair and husband Jim of Orlando, Fla., Amanda Elizabeth Cummings Barwick and husband Michael of Peoria, Ariz., David Matthew Cummings of Mentor, Ohio, Sara Colleen Cummings of Peoria, Ariz., and Jacqueline Maureen Cummings of Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Levi, Brooklyn, Kaylee, Kaiah, Emelia, Evalyn Bay and Vella Rose; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas Cummings and wife Karen of Boiling Springs, S.C., and Dennis K. Cummings and wife Scarlett of Greenbrier; sister, Susan M. Cummings of Burbank, Calif.; and former wife, Marnie Cummings of Peoria, Ariz. Inurnment will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Long Cemetery in Van Buren County.
