Daphne Cope Greene, 78

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Daphne Cope Greene, 78, was born April 1, 1933 and died Sept. 14 at her residence following a brief illness.The retired owner/operator of D&G Antiques and member of Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late V.C. and Bernice Rymer Cope. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gwendolyn McMahan and Martha DeAnna Cope.She was married June 1, 1950 to Johnny D. Greene of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Paul Matheny of Fayetteville; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Vickie Green of the Centertown community, and Cliff and Gail Green of McMinnville; two granddaughters and their husbands, Candice and Chuck Allen of Fayetteville, and Heather and Jason Tabor of Brighton; two grandsons, Dallas Greene and Jonathan Green, both of McMinnville; two nieces, Kathy Winton and husband, Charlie, of McMinnville, and Susan McMahan of Nashville; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
