Danny Paul Stewart, 62, of East Ridge, TN received his perfect healing Sunday, Dec. 16.
He was a member of The Crossing Church and had worked at several TVA Nuclear Power Plants across the valley, including his beloved Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. Danny Paul was a lover of fast cars and took meticulous care of them. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family, his church, friends and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by father Paul Jennings Stewart and brother Kenneth Dale Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Lynette Branum Stewart; children, Jennifer (Justin) Boyd, Kirby (Wes) Williams, Regan (Brent) Myers and Ramsey Stewart; five grandchildren, Connor and Kate Williams, Mylie and Lilla Boyd and Willa Mae Myers; mother Inez Stewart; two sisters, Betty Elaine (Bob) Alsup and Jennie Annette Stewart; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. at The Crossing Church, 7501 Standifer Gap Road. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Crossing Church with the Rev. Terry Harris, Paul Simmons and Kevin Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow Thursday at New Union Cemetery in Smithville following a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at New Union Baptist Church, 360 Church Road in Smithville.
