Danny Mayo Wix died at his home in Morrison.

Danny Mayo Wix, 70, died at his home in Morrison.
He was a graduate of the FBI Academy, a retired TBI agent and faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Manchester. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Belford Mayo Wix and Mary Margaret Fincher Wix; and brothers, Michael Wix and Larry Wix.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Hamilton Wix of Morrison; children, Leigh A. Braswell (David) of Westmoreland, Richard A. Wix (Gina) of Westmoreland, Tanja M. Kendrick (Naullain) of Manchester, and Laurissa D. Martin (Deran) of Murfreesboro; brother, Gary L. Wix (Martha Ann Sutherland) of Westmoreland; brothers-in-law, Bill Hamilton of Cedar Grove and Howard Hamilton (Clarnita) of Cedar Grove; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Central Funeral Home, 2812 Hillsboro Highway, Manchester 37355, and Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church on Ragsdale Road in Manchester. Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Corey Henley officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with U.S. Army veteran military honors.
