Danny Hickey, 63, a resident and Warren County native, died June 9 at his residence following an illness of two months.
He was a self-employed home builder and son of the late Albert Franklin and Minnie Pearl Whiteaker Hickey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Phillip Hickey, sister, Velma Talbert and sister-in-law, Kristi Baker.
Mr. Hickey was married June 18, 2004 to Shayna Dawn Taylor Hickey, who survives. He is also survived by three children, Tammy (Ted) Harper, Chrissie (Conrad) Jackson and Daniel (Megan) Hickey, all of Florida; stepson, Tyler Brinkley of Morrison; eight grandchildren; brother Joe F. (Linda) Hickey of McMinnville; sister, Joyce (Kenneth) Felty of Morrison; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Linda Speckhart of McMinnville; niece, Peyton Baker of Rock Island, and several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the McMinnville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Dennis Clark to officiate. Visitation will be noon Thursday until time of service at the church.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
