Daniel Wayne Seamons, 68

Daniel Wayne Seamons, Sr., age 68, a resident of Doyle, was born June 15, 1945 and died January 25, 2014 following an extended illness.
 He was self employed in the timber, trucking and heavy equipment businesses and was a member of Harmony Church of Christ.
 He was the son of the late Niles Roland Seamons and Kathleene Harris Seamons. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by brother Billy Seamons and sister-in-law Louise Seamons.
 He is survived by his wife, Connie Thaxton Seamons; son Daniel Wayne (Tammy) Seamons, Jr. of Bone Cave; daughter Renee´ (Charles) Guy of Spencer; four grandchildren Dakota (Cierston) Seamons; Dustin (Chelsie) Guy; and Dillon Guy, all of Spencer; and Daniel Wayne Seamons, III of Doyle; two great-grandchildren Raylon Seamons and Trinity Guy; and one brother Sam (June) Seamons of Bone Cave. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harmony Church of Christ with Bob McCoy officiating. Burial will take place at McElroy Cemetery.
 Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., Monday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service at Harmony Church of Christ in Van Buren County.
 High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
