Coy Smith Hillis, 73, of McMinnville died Wednesday at Alive Hospice of St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Moose Lodge in McMinnville and a member of the VFW. Hillis was also a telephone factory worker. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymon Hillis and brother, Arie Hillis.
