Connie Lee Jenkins, 96 of McMinnville died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Raintree Manor.
She was born Thursday, Jan. 29, 1920 in Lafayette to his late parents, Joseph and Era Jenkins. He lived in Michigan then retired to Portland where he was a member of Hollis Chapel Baptist Church. He then moved to McMinnville after his wife's death and attended Gath Baptist Church.
 He was employed as a hammer man at Huron Forge in the steel industry for over 40 years. He loved working in his garden and loved the outdoors. He loved the Lord and was a faithful servant of the church and was a very kind and patient man.
 Surviving are daughters, Virginia and Jim Dorsey of Michigan, and Judy and Rick Stewart of McMinnville; son Jerry Jenkins of Michigan; two sisters Georgia Green of Florida, and Mary Guffy of Florida; two brothers, Kendall Jenkins of Colorado, and Jimmy Jenkins of Florida; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Pearl Jenkins; his parents, Joseph and Era Jenkins, son, Jeffory Jenkins, daughter, Charlotte and Ernest Weber, nine brothers and sisters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 until the time of the service at Gath Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Gath Baptist Church located at 6967 Smithville Highway, McMinnville with Rick Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Gath Cemetery.
