McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Connie David Roberts, 70, died Jan. 25 at his home after an extended illness.A contractor and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Elisha and Hallie Bouldin Roberts; and was preceded in death by grandson, Brandon David Steakley; brother, Roy Roberts and sisters, Joyce, Willie Martin and Lillian Padgett.He is survived by his wife, Doris Seals Roberts; daughters, Anita Powers and Sherry Moore of McMinnville; grandchildren, Chandi Nunley, Brandi Powers, Brady Power and Nikki Moore; brother, L.C. Roberts of McMinnville; and sisters, Mary Shelton of Ohio, Shirley Adcock and Brenda Myers, both of McMinnville.Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Jason Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Fawn Lake Cemetery.
