Cola June Lance, 75, of Bolivar died Sunday night, Feb. 17, at Van Ayer Manor in Martin.
She was born in Warren County on April 28, 1937 to the late Henry Curtis and Mary Magdalene Dutton Williamson. Having lived most of her life in Hardeman County, she also had previously lived in McMinnville, as well as in Michigan. A graduate of Warren County High School, she worked most of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Bolivar First Assembly of God.
Survivors include three sons, James Bruce Lance of Bolivar, Carl Wayne Lance of Belgium, and Steven Douglas Lance of Bolivar; nine grandchildren, Stacey, Susan, Priscilla, Melissa, Jean and Denise, all of Florida, Rebecca of San Antonio, Texas, and Erica and Kelly of Bolivar; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Michael Henry Lance, who died Oct. 4, 1978; and sister, Janie Williamson Tate.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial following at Bolivar Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service today at the funeral home.
