Mr. Clifford Wayne Blum, 71, of Rock Island, died May 29, 2023, at his home. He was born in Dunlap, on Dec. 29, 1951, was retired from both construction and as an ordnance mechanic with the U. S. Navy, and was preceded in death by father, Benjamin Franklin Blum; mother, Marie Louise Kilgore Williams and sister Peggy Louise Reed.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Joey Luz Padilla; son, Eric Blum; grandchildren, Emma Padilla, Eva Padilla, Raymond Vega and Ariana Blum; great-grandson, Ayden Padilla; sister, Ellen Blum and a brother, Harold Sullivan.

Mr. Blum was cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC and no immediate services are planned at this time.
