Funeral services for Clark Wayne Malone Sr., 71, of Manchester was held Saturday at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery in Manchester. Mr. Malone died at Centennial Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness.
He was born in Warren County to the late William Claude and Rebecca Morris Malone. He was self-employed and owner of Malone Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Mt. View Church of Christ. He also loved to play horseshoes and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was devoted to his family and church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Malone.
Mr. Malone is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Neely Malone; three sons, Wayne (Phyllis) Malone Jr., of Tullahoma, Daryl (Joy) Malone of Manchester, and Shannon (Paula) Malone of Manchester, two brothers, Carson and Carl Malone of McMinnville; two sisters, Dean McCormick of Rock Island and Sue Hale of McMinnville; eight grandchildren, Michael, Adam, Allen, Sarah, Chelsea, Jordan, Faith and Amanda; and five great-grandchildren.
