Morrison resident and Coffee County native Clara McMahan McAfee, 99, was born July 2, 1913 and died Oct. 14 at Raintree Manor following a brief illness.A homemaker and a member of Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Zora Ann Dodd McMahan. She was married to Bernard L. McAfee, who preceded her in death March 2, 2008. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara McAfee of Morrison, and Rod McAfee and Margie Anderson of Morrison; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Prater of Morrison, and Pauline Light of Muncie, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service was held Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Ken Willis officiating.
