Mr. Christopher Lee Keele 52, of McMinnville, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at Ascension St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. He was born on Oct. 28, 1970, was a heavy equipment operator for the City of McMinnville, and a minister at Mt. Zion Church.  Mr. Keele was preceded in death by his father Horace (Fredia) Keele and by his mother Louise (Gene) Pickett.

Survivors include his wife Deanna Sullivan Keel; daughter Rachel (Travis) Soloman; brothers Tony, Dujuan (Diane), Jeff, Tim (Rhonda), Dennis Richard (Kathy), Keith (Jan), Dale (Regina) and Dennis (Felicia), grandchildren Chloe Soloman, Caden Soloman and Eldon Soloman; father-in-law and mother-in-law Lester and Sue Sullivan; special friends Frank and Tammy Miller; his church family at Mt. Zion Church; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.  

Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Ronnie Powell and Robert Case will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Keele family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 p.m. –  8 p.m. and then again on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Church.
