McMinnville resident and Chardon, Ohio native Charlotte Belle “Dolly” Harper, 79, was born May 10, 1937 and died Dec. 9 at her residence following a sudden illness.Retired from the assembly department at Carrier Corporation, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Erma Carpenter Disbro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond “Sonny” Disbro and Donnie Disbro; and sister, Joann Duczman.She was married to George “Jim” Harper of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lila and Larry Terry of McMinnville, Sandy and David Tate of McMinnville, and Sharon Childress of Morrison; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Marlene Lynch of Ohio.Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
