Mr. Charles Patrick Newby, Sr., 83, of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7 at Calhoun Health Care Center in Calhoun, Ga. He was born on Oct. 10, 1940 in Detroit, Mich., retired as an auto body mechanic and operated the "One of A Kind" used furniture store for 25 years. Mr. Newby was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Dovie Newby; son, Charles Patrick “Chuck” Newby, Jr.; sister, Betty Annette Newby; brothers, James Newby and Frank Newby; and grandchild, Tabitha Newby.
