Funeral services for Charles Herman Henegar, 49, affectionately known as “Chuck,” of Morrison, will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Alan Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Henegar died Wednesday, Jan. 22, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Herman Henegar, maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lola Mae Johnson, paternal grandparents, B.F. and Alta Henegar, and niece, Amelia Grace Henegar.
He was born in Putnam County and graduated from Coffee County Central High School in 1982. He furthered his education and graduated from Motlow Community College. He was an avid reader, fascinated with the Civil War era and American history. Never meeting a stranger, he was a people person and enjoyed talking with strangers who quickly became friends. One of his favorite activities was attending the Renaissance Festival. Hunting and fishing were also favorite pastimes. He was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his loving mother, Juanita Henegar of Morrison and brother, Rick Henegar and wife, Trisha L. of Murfreesboro.
