Charles Edward “Shine” Cantrell, 87, of McMinnville, died Friday, Aug. 12, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born Jan. 12, 1929, in Warren County, was a former employee of Genesco Shoe, retired as a supervisor with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and was a member of Earleyville Church of Christ. Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by parents F.C. and Mirantha Tosh Cantrell, a brother Frank Cantrell and sisters Janie Hale, Clydie Foster and Mary Martin.
