McMinnville resident and Warren County native Charles Edward Bell, 63, was born Sept. 28, 1948 and died Dec. 10 at his residence following a sudden illness.An employee of McMinnville Concrete and member of Bonner Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Dewey Latton and Evelyn Frances Mayes Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Buss.He was married Nov. 26, 1970 to Brenda Fisher Bell of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children and their spouses, Gracie Jane Brown, Keith and Beth Bell, Mark Buss and Shelly Bell and Jason Underwood, all of McMinnville; 10 grandchildren, Austin Cantrell, Krissy Bell, Gracie Mae Bell, Braxton Cole, Zoe Beth Cole, Caitlin Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Cade Buss, Stephen Bell and Chad Wood; step-grandson, Anthony Underwood; great-grandchild, Bray Lee Grace Robinson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Latton and Linda Bell and Tooter and Connie Bell, all of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Brenda and Bill Cothren, Stephanie Newby, Makayla Newby, Alexandria Newby, Gabriel Bateman, Royce Cothren, Billy Wayne Cothren, Ryan Cothren, Jennifer Page and Heather Bradley.Funeral services were held Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Tim Long, Ray Weddington and Paul Davis officiating.
