Charles C. Rubley, 85

Mr. Charles C. Rubley, 85, of Waynetown, Ind., previously of Grundy County (Tarlton community), died Monday, Dec. 8, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
He was born Nov. 26, 1929 in Tarlton and was retired from R.R. Donnelly’s as a machine operator of 37 years. Mr. Rubley was a 32nd degree Mason who enjoyed playing euchre, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lena Pearl Thompson Rubley, brothers  Jack Rubley, Bill Rubley, John Rubley and David Rubley .
Mr. Rubley is survived by his wife of 58 years Marilyn Ball Rubley, children Darrell Rubley and Cheryl Huse, brothers James Earl Rubley and Ernest Cline Rubley, sister Christine Painter, grandchildren Rachel Rubley, Christopher Rubley, Ashley (Josh) Posthauer and Amy Wise, and great grandchildren Alex Trinkle and Jaycen Posthauer.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Saturday at King Cemetery in Grundy County. Darrell Nance will officiate. Interment will follow at King Cemetery. The Rubley family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., and again Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
