Charlene Cable McCorkle, 86, of McMinnville died Friday, Jan. 9 at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville. She was born Oct. 29, 1928, in New Castle, Ind., was a retired payroll clerk with Chrysler and a member of Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. McCorkle was preceded in death by parents Jesse and Ollie Bunch Cable; sisters, Dorothy Hyatt and Christine Silvers; and brothers, Leroy Cable and Marion Cable.Survivors include her husband, Howard Dale McCorkle; son and daughter-in-law, Kris and Paula McCorkle, and grandchildren Katie and Mitchell McCorkle.Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
