Rock Island resident and Indianapolis, Ind., native Carolyn Jean McCormick, 69, died Oct. 26 at her home after an extended illness.A seamstress with Great Western Bag Company, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Eva Mae Wilson Kieninger; and was preceded in death by brothers, Herbert Lee and Donald Eugene Kieninger.She is survived by her husband, Frank McCormick; children, Tony Perkins and Chip McCormick of Indianapolis, Donna Lee Rutledge, Richard Douglas McCormick and Aaron Andrew McCormick, all of Rock Island; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Kieninger and sister, Sharon Rubottom, both of Indianapolis.Services will be held at noon Saturday at High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial will follow at Brickhouse Cemetery.
