Memorial services for Carl Andrew Eldridge, 62, of Morrison will be conducted Saturday, May 18 at 2 p.m. with Joe King officiating at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Eldridge died Friday, May 10 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Mr. Eldridge was born Feb. 12, 1951 in McMinnville to the late Mitchell Eldridge and Sarah Garrett Eldridge. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era and also the Korean Conflict. He served his country proudly for more than 30 years and was a member of the American Legion. He was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, C.J. Eldridge; a stepson, Wayne Turner; and a brother, Freddie Eldridge.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ruthie A. Eldridge; five daughters, Betty, Mary, Martha, Kathie, and Josie; one son, Andrew Eldridge; three stepdaughters, Kay, Fonda, and Ginger; two stepsons, Ray Turner and Michael Turner; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Farleff, Shirley Duke, and Kathy Rogers; two brothers, Eddie Eldridge and Michael Eldridge, and a host of family and friends.
