C. Eugene Wood, 83, of Brentwood died Oct. 25 after a short battle with cancer.He was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1952, a member of the National Honor Society, and the band. A smart but humble man, he was one of the most well-respected men in his field working for American Paper & Twine for 47 years. A most unselfish man, he treasured his family and friendships.
