Bone Cave resident and Van Buren County native Brenda Sue Shockley, 66, was born Sept. 24, 1948 and died Jan. 1 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro following an extended illness. A retired employee of Oster Corporation and member of Mt. Elim Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Rube and Myrtle Hillis Yates.
