Smartt resident and Warren County native Brenda Faye Simmons, 55, was born Oct. 4, 1960 and died June 8 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was the daughter of Lee Earl Lorance of Smartt and the late Frances Claudine Walker Lorance. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by daughter Ashley Simmons.
