Bobbie Lee Parton Bratcher, 91, of McMinnville (Bratcher’s Crossroad community) died Thursday, Dec. 17 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 17, 1924 in Rutherford County and was involved in their farm and grocery store and was a member of Bratcher’s Crossroads Free Methodist Church. Mrs. Bratcher was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Nancy Corley Parton; husband Burley Cecil “Tommie” Bratcher; brothers Chester Parton, Tommy Parton, and Dorse Parton; sisters Lucinda Winnett and Evelyn Todd; great-granddaughter, Katy Michelle McKelvey and infant grandson, Henry Randolph Bevis Jr.
Survivors include daughter Patsy (Henry) Bevis of Hillsboro; brother Dewey Parton of Whitehouse; grandchildren Julie (Rob) Foor and Nancy (Bobby) Vajcner; and great-grandchildren, Carolyn Ann Vajcner, William Vajcner, Lottie Vajcner, Samuel McKelvey, Tyler McKelvey, Elijah McKelvey, Tristen McKelvey, Rose McKelvey, and Lucas Foor.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bobby Wheeler and pastor Reed Wilbanks will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery.
