Billy Ray Webb, 94, of McMinnville died Thursday, Jan. 27 suddenly at home. He was born Jan. 5, 1928 in McMinnville. He was an Air Force veteran and retired truck driver. He operated a rock, sand and gravel business and also hauled nursery stock. He was a member of Earleyville Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Jackson Webb and Shellie Alfeata Cantrell Webb, wife Muriel Dean Wilson Webb, brother Carlton Webb, sisters Lila Cantrell, Lois Cantrell, Dorothy Pitts, Frances Walker and Kathryn Boyd, stepson Danny Henegar and step daughter-in-law Cathy Henegar.

His survivors include wife Hattie Lucille Henegar Webb, daughter Beverly Gilley, stepsons Perry Henegar and Michael (Judy) Henegar, step daughter-in-law Rachel Henegar, grandchildren Trent (Heather) Gilley, Lori Comfort, great-grandchildren Gracie, Hope and Tucker Gilley, Heather (Daniel) Haggard, great-great grandsons Jaxon and Finn Haggard, numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and brother Marlon Webb.

He was well-loved by everyone. At his request, his body was donated to Vanderbilt Anatomical Donation Program. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Vanderbilt or the charity of your choice.
