Bessie Lee Kilgore Wallace, 86, died at a Chattanooga hospital Friday, July 15. She was a member of the Chattanooga SDA and was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace; son, William Wallace; and brother, James Kilgore. Survivors include her daughter, Martha Hudson of South Pittsburg; four sons, Bobby Wallace of Jasper; John Wallace of Oak Ridge; Benny Wallace of South Pittsburg; and Kenneth Wallace of Trenton, Ga.; sisters, Ruth Smith of Ringgold; Sue Harvey of South Pittsburg; Lois Isbell, Nanny Grant, and Ruby Pursley of Dunlap; Marie Williams of Knoxville; brother Joe Kilgore of Cohutta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held Monday at Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with elder Ralph LaFare and Bob Thompson officiating.
