Bessie Bolen Cecil Lusk, 90

On Thursday, May 7, Bessie Bolen Cecil Lusk, 90, died. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart, mind, body and soul.
A homemaker and a member of Forest Park Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walter and Matilda Belle Bolen Cecil. She was married July 6, 1944 to Earl T. Lusk, who preceded her in death March 25, 2010. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Cecil Lusk; and three sisters, Francis Mitchell, Gladys Whiteside and Mary Sue Casey.
Mrs. Lusk is survived by four children and spouses, Thomas W. and Linda Lusk, Wilma and Bill Blankenship, Annie and David Moffitt, and Nina and Doug Wilcher, all of McMinnville; 13 grandchildren and spouses, Jerry and Beth Blankenship, Jason and Mandy Blankenship, Clint Lusk, Michael and Darlana Lytle, Russell Lytle (Shelly Cope), Shane and Kayla Wilcher, Shari Owens, Melanie and Daniel Sullins, Michelle and Josh Carpenter, Hannah and Rudy Arn, Hilary and Dr. Erik Maryniw, Kimberly Wilcher, and Nichole and Jonathan Bugg; 21 great-grandchildren; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral service was held Saturday, May 9 in High’s Chapel with Thomas Lusk officiating. Burial followed in Airview Cemetery, Grundy County.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
