Mrs. Berdie Dean Smith Jacobs of McMinnville died Saturday, February 4.

Mrs. Berdie Dean Smith Jacobs, 89, of McMinnville died Saturday, Feb. 4, at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville.
She was born June 2, 1927, in Warren County, was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker and a member of Bratcher’s Crossroad Free Methodist Church. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Leathie Pearl Campbell Smith, son Terry Jacobs, brothers Bernice, Marshall, Carlos, and Morris Smith, a grandchild Angelia Tinsley, and great-grandchild Raegan Grace Simons.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years Edzel Jacobs, their children Delma Faye (Andy) Tinsley, Wayne (Joy) Jacobs, Robbie (Wendell) VanValin, and Bobby (Pam) Jacobs, 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her sisters Wilma Wesson and Joyce (Lyon) Walkup, and sisters-in-law Beulah Smith, Naomi Smith, and Charlene Smith. Several nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Andrea Tinsley and Reed Wilbanks will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Jacobs family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and again Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
