Beatrice Dodson Stafford, 87, of McMinnville died Friday, June 16, at NHC Health Care Center in McMinnville.
She was born May 10, 1930, in White County and was a wife, mother, and member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She and her husband Frank resided in Indianapolis, Ind., for 34 years before moving to Walling, where she loved farm life and family get-togethers. Bea was preceded in death by parents, Fred Lee and Mary Elizabeth Dodson, grandson Jeremy Stafford, and sisters, Molly Crim and Ella Midgett.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Frank L. Stafford, children Thomas Michael (Raquel) Stafford, Patricia (Ingvar) Sueberkrop, Cheryl (Kevin) Garber, and Sandra (Mike) Collins, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, sister Zella (Larry) Cook, and brothers Fred (Norma) Dodson and Stanton Dodson. Several nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Kevin Burden will officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. The Stafford family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
