Barbara Jo West Foster, 85, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, was born Nov. 11, 1931 and died April 21 in Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital following a brief illness. She was a retired teacher’s aide with Warren County Schools, a member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late Hershel and Bertie Russell West. Mrs. Foster was married to George Max Foster, who preceded her death on May 24, 1996.
