McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Barbara “Bob” Sandlin, 52, was born Feb. 13, 1963 and died Sept. 1 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.An employee of Star Manufacturing and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Junior and Evelyn Pedigo Sandlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Joyce Ann Walker.She is survived by significant other, Jerris Danny Wade of McMinnville; three sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Campbell, Anita Sandlin, and Linda and Floyd Neal, all of McMinnville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Myra Sandlin of Painesville, Ohio, David Sandlin of McMinnville, and Michael and Trena Sandlin of McMinnville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Larry Neal officiating.
