McMinnville resident and Warren County native “B” Brown Cox, 62, was born July 9, 1950 and died Jan. 29 at her residence following an extended illness.A retired school teacher with William Biles Elementary and a member of Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Franklin H. “Chick” and Gwendolyn Watson Brown.She was married Nov. 20, 1973 to Neal Cox of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Brandy Cox of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Byron, Katelyn and Ean Cox, all of McMinnville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Rena and Colin McDowell of San Diego, Calif., Sharon and David Hammer of Wilder, Ky., Jeri and Jerry Brown of Nashville, and Gwen and Ricky Hildreth of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Linda Evans of Lexington, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in High’s Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating.
