Audrey Denise Ramsey
OBIT - Ramsey.jpg

Audrey Denise Ramsey was born in Sewanee, TN on June 8, 1972 and went to be with The Father on June 30 at her home on Edd Ramsey Road, named after her grandfather.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Peggy Ann Kennerly Ramsey, and her brother Darren Alan Ramsey.

Audrey is survived by two uncles Frederick Ramsey of McMinnville, Milton Kennerly of Nashville, four aunts Marcia Ramsey of McMinnville, Joe Ella Ramsey of Beavercreek, Ohio, Brenda North of Nashville, Mildred Kennerly of Sewanee, and numerous cousins and friends.

Family was very important to Audrey. She enjoyed attending and spoke often about the Shedd/ Southern Family Reunion. She looked forward to family gatherings at Lake Ramsey. It was always amazing that she knew everyone’s birthday and anniversary. Audrey loved classic TV shows especially Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver and Little House on the Prairie. She liked music too. Oftentimes she would be tapping her foot and bobbing her head to the cable music channels or to her personal music collection.

Audrey was a faithful member of Hopewell Fellowship Church. She loved her church family and was loved and supported in return. Audrey had an infectious smile and a bright and positive attitude. No matter the challenge, Audrey relied on her faith and faced it head on with grace and unwavering determination.

Audrey was loved by many and will be greatly missed, until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, cards and gifts, please make a donation to either the American Cancer Society or the Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge in Nashville. Donations to either fund can be made at
