Atlantis “A.J.” Dodson was born Oct. 1, 2006 and passed from this life Oct. 26. 

A.J. was a spunky, outgoing, energetic, and loving child. A.J. loved many things in life that include, but not limited to, outdoors, family time, sports, and being with her friends.  A.J. is preceded in death by Dakota Dodson (brother), Clifton Dodson (grandpa), Lorena Dodson (great grandma) Arnold Dodson (great grandpa), Emma Sparkman (great grandma), and Melvin McCormick (great grandpa).

A.J. is survived by her parents Travis and Stephanie Dodson, five sisters Leeann (Kamron), Kelsi (Josh), Allissa (Steve), Selena (Trayton), and Zoe, four nieces Keilee, Lillie, Amelia, and Bellamy, four grandparents Brenda Dodson, Janice and Larry Blish, and Steve Keith, great-grandma Dorothy McCormick, two aunts Cynthia Dodson and Wendy (Billy) Nunley, one uncle Chris Dodson and several cousins. Aside from her family, she has many friends and extended family that she loved dearly. 

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be conducted by Ryan Vincion with burial to take place at Friendship Cemetery in Campaign. Visitation with the Dodson family will be Friday from 12 p.m. noon to 2 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
