Artie Arline Fowler, 73

McMinnville resident and Grand Rapids, Mich., native Artie Arline Fowler, 73, was born April 13, 1941 and died Jan. 1 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro following an extended illness.
A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late William Guy and Artie Mae Boyd Crosslin. She was married to Lester Fowler, who preceded her in death March 1, 2012. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debra Arline Fowler; brother, M.J. Crosslin and sister, Dorothy Louise Hankins.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by three children, Lester "Bo" (Diann) Fowler, Terry (Dionne) Fowler, and Brian (Cindy) Fowler, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Brittany (Trey) Todd, Kyle Fowler, Haley Fowler and Cory and Cody Tate; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Colton Todd; three brothers, Melvin (Janice) Crosslin of Memphis, Richard (Sandra) Crosslin of Virginia, and Eugene (Debbie) Crosslin of Arizona; sister-in-law, Betty Johnson of Smithville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in High's Chapel with Lanny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Cemetery in White County. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Sunday until time of service at High's.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
